The brown fabric patch with gold lace work border with multi color thread work creates a brilliant contrast. The thick stitches of Phulkari make the pattern all the more emphasized. Phulkari embroidery, the traditional embroidery of Punjab, is painstakingly done by rural womenfolk. Each phulkari item is one of a kind.
